Enchantment
as i typed that titled i just remembered soccer. that soccer team i was on that changed its name every year. we never won. no matter what name we picked we never ended up winning very many games. when the team began (i think i was about 7 or 8?) it was called "summer sting." and we had a clever little picture of a bee stinging a soccer ball on our blue shirts. in the early 90s we became "enchantment" (which we voted for over names like "jelly beans") which was printed in purple lettering on our turquoise shirts. it was beautiful. in late middle school or early high school we renamed ourselves, simply, "equipo." we had snazzy green shirts that looked like real soccer shirts that real soccer players would wear. that name was a problem because nobody knew how to pronounce it. they wanted it to be short for "equipment," and they pronounced it accordingly. no matter how many times we said it slowly, and explained that it meant "team" in spanish...
nevermind. that's not what i meant this entry to be about.
tonight i went to see finding neverland with my sister. my sister who thought she was peter pan for a good long while when she was three or four. she wore a long green shirt, green leggings, a belt around her waist, and a green felt hat. casey was often captain hook, and sometimes tinkerbell, i believe. anyway, the movie was amazing. i don't think i even want to use words to talk about it.
i recommend it.

yes, i definitely had tears dripping. not as many as harriet the spy evoked a few weeks ago, though. and nothing, i mean NOTHING, can beat that night we watched losing isaiah in J&L's double quad.
